Looking at the stars
It’s funny, I’ve never known what the Big Dipper looked like before and I could never find it, and now that I’ve found it, I can’t stop seeing it whenever I look up at the sky at night. I guess I just enjoy doing things like that… watching the ocean, looking at the stars, enjoying the rain; my mom says it means I can be a very calm/relaxed person.
But anyway, what brought up that thought was because last night, on my way home from the rush event, I had the sudden urge to just drive with the windows down with the cool, after-rain air blowing in my car, listening to my music, and end up where ever to just chill and enjoy the rainy/cool weather. I know I had 8AM today, but I still didn’t want to sleep last night. I was surprised at how much energy I had after the rush event… especially because I’ve been so out of it lately. Talking to some of the rushees woke me up and rejuvenated some of the excitement I know I have in me but I’ve been holding back for some reason as of late. I’ve been reminded of what I love to do, what I want to do, and I’m looking forward to the next few weeks of craziness again.
School, APO, work, life. I’m pretty happy with all 4 right now. Let’s keep this up! lolol gotta remember to keep the 4F’s in mind: family, friends, food, and fun. ;)
Rain always puts me in a good mood :)
